I came to London to work on my writing in a weekend workshop with Elizabeth Gilbert. I leave having healed an unknowing addiction that has been taking over my life for the past seven years. Okay, that might sound more dramatic than it actually is because it’s not a life-destroying addiction. Actually, this addiction altered my life in many ways until I realized that somewhere between hundreds of flights, chats with strangers, and nights at the airport, I lost sight of what really matters.
